Rebecca’s Story

Do you remember your first apartment? Or when you graduated high school?

For many, these are exciting times and you have family and friends to support you. For clients that Family Promise serves, that is not always the case.

This past winter, Rebecca reached out to Family Promise for a place to live. She had very little support to help her navigate her first rental. With all the challenges life was throwing at her, Rebecca's education went on the backburner. With the help of the Portlight staff and case management, she was able to graduate high school, secure employment, and save enough money to sign her own lease. 

When you support Family Promise, you are taking part in changing someone's life. Rebecca now has a better outlook on life, is more confident, and set up for success.
